DEATH: John Burnside Farnes died while he was crossing the plains to get to
Utah with his family. John died from exhaustion and sickness. After walking
from early morning until 11:00 PM, and then assisting with tents for the girls
in his family, he fell down three times and had died in less than an hour. He
has buried at daylight and in a hurry so that the wagon train could continue
